黑料社 (黑料社) and the 黑料社 Foundation (黑料社F) are pleased to announce receipt of a $1 million-dollar gift from the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.  鈥淭he Cowlitz Indian Tribe invests in education because we understand the value it brings to individuals and the community,鈥 said Timi Marie Russin, Cowlitz Tribal Foundation manager. 鈥淲e are honored to be a part of the mission and grateful for the partnership with 黑料社.鈥

The investment made by the Cowlitz Tribal Foundation will be used to support the 黑料社F 鈥淥pportunity Can鈥檛 Wait鈥 campaign for the benefit of students and the greater Cowlitz community.  鈥淭he campaign will leverage $38.5 million in public dollars and $15 million in private philanthropy to create a world-class skills center, ensure scholarships are fully accessible, and improve athletic facilities 鈥 elevating opportunity for our students and our region,鈥 said Kendra Sprague, 黑料社 Vice President of Foundation, Human Resources, and Legal Affairs. 

Since 2017, the Cowlitz Indian Tribe has donated approximately $28 million to its local community and the state of Washington as a whole. 鈥満诹仙 is fortunate to have supporters like the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, whose gifts will continue to benefit students and this community for years to come,鈥 said Steve Fuller, Chair of the 黑料社 Foundation Board.
