The ASºÚÁÏÉç, also known as student government, works to create an interactive, fun, and welcoming campus environment for all students and community members. ASºÚÁÏÉç student leaders are the voice of the students to the administration. They serve on several committees and work to make sure students are front and center in the decision-making process.

ASºÚÁÏÉç is comprised of the Governing Board and the Student Activities Board, which collectively is the ASºÚÁÏÉç Executive Council. The Governing Board is the direct connection to the campus administration, advocacy, and oversight of the ASºÚÁÏÉç.

The ASºÚÁÏÉç Student Activities Board is comprised of multiple directors with specific focus areas as it relates to activities, experiences, and educational events. They plan programs on a regular basis, including our large scale annual campus events and activities. Visit the ºÚÁÏÉç Calendar, or our , , or pages to stay up to date on all student activities and events.

All positions are filled through a selection process that includes an application, interview, and final determination by the ASºÚÁÏÉç Hiring Committee. This committee consists of current ASºÚÁÏÉç officers and Student Activities staff. ASºÚÁÏÉç officers must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and must be registered for at least 12 credits each quarter in office. ASºÚÁÏÉç student leaders typically work around 10-12 hours a week and are paid for their time. Our selection process typically happens during spring term for the following year, though we may have positions open throughout the year. We will send out campus wide emails and advertise across campus any time we have an opening.
