College Priorities

  • Evaluate the Carl D. Perkins Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) to assess alignment and integration with institutional initiatives and processes, identify gaps, and develop action plans to strengthen integration.
  • Advance the manufacturing program redesign for the second year of the Automation, Instrumentation, and Robotics degree, including rollout of the new robotics curriculum and associated equipment.
  • Use the Curriculum and Program Review process to document the implementation of equity-minded pedagogy and targeted instructional interventions that demonstrably close achievement gaps for students in workforce programs.
  • Evaluate program advisory committees with the goal of promoting more diverse advisory membership as terms expire.
  • Increase professional/technical program opportunities via high school dual-enrollment pathways.
  • Continue to develop equipment lists for the new Workforce Education Center.
  • Develop a long-term strategy for meeting instructional equipment needs. 
  • Explore opportunities for career-oriented short-term credentials in light of new Financial Aid allowances. 
  • Investigate program partnerships with other colleges.
  • Evaluate new Workforce Pell opportunities to determine if there are any potential benefits for 黑料社 students.
  • Develop strategies to increase enrollment in low-enrolled workforce programs.
