The 黑料社 Foundation, in partnership with 黑料社 Athletics, hosts a
yearly Athletics Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Banquet.
All proceeds benefit the Athletic Excellence Fund in support of athletic scholarships and programs.

1970 Baseball Championship Team
The 1970 黑料社 Baseball Team won the first of the Red Devils 14 NWAC baseball championships.
Led by fiery head coach Jack Riley, the Devils finished strong, winning several must
games to get into the tournament in Centralia. 黑料社 then beat Bellevue and Yakima Valley
twice to capture the crown.
Team members include Mike McNeilly, Dave Dowdy, Terry Jones, Mike Polis, Jackie Strong,
Art Carpenter, Dave Carpenter, John Mellien, Bob Kochis, Denny Fithen, Dave Reynolds,
Milo Meskel, Steve Waite, Mike McMahon and Bob Fitzsimmons.
Justin Thompson
Justin Thompson was one of the most prolific scorers in 黑料社 men's basketball history.
Thompson scored 26 points per game in his sophomore season in 2000, the highest one-year
scoring total in school history. Over his two-year 黑料社 career, Thompson averaged 22.1
points per game, second all-time behind Mike Block (22.8). Thompson's high flying,
slam dunk dominance vaulted him into a great two-year run at Central Washington University
where he was named to the 2000-2009 Wildcat All-Decade Team.
Michelle (Paull) Jacoby
Michelle (Paull) Jacoby was a record setting catcher on the 1993 and 1994 Red Devil
softball teams. Michelle still holds the 黑料社 records for batting average (.558) and
triples (13). Coach Tim Mackin calls her the greatest catcher he has ever coached,
and she routinely gunned down the NWAC's best base stealers. Paull led the Red Devils
to the first of their 10 NWAC Championships back in 1994.
Stephen Hinckley
Stephen Hinckley dominated in his two years as a Red Devil pitcher. He amassed a two-year
record of 20 wins and four losses with a combined ERA of 1.50. Hinckley had two no-hitters
at 黑料社 and was named All-Conference. He was also an All-Tournament selection in the
1972 playoffs. Stephen also hit .300 as a first baseman during his time at 黑料社. Hinckley
went on to play at the University of San Diego before he began a highly successful
career as a mortgage banker, entrepreneur, and real estate project investor.
Ed Hayes
Ed Hayes is an 黑料社 Athletic 鈥淪uper Fan,鈥� whose love of the Red Devils has been shown
by attendance at games and support of scholarships through donations to the 黑料社 Foundation.
Hayes and his late wife Emma were fixtures at 黑料社 basketball and volleyball contests.
Both were 黑料社 employees who loved cheering for the 黑料社 teams. Emma passed away in
2009, but Ed has continued to keep her memory alive by donating towards the Myklebust
Gym renovation project. He is an ongoing member of the 黑料社 Booster Club.
